The Women’s Center at Newton Medical Center is moving Thursday from the Medical Office Plaza to newly renovated space in the main hospital building.

Charity

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation has awarded more than $149,000 in Healthy Habits for Life grants to schools in 55 Kansas counties, including to 39 schools in Butler, Harvey and Sedgwick counties.

Bank of America has awarded a $5,000 grant to Fundamental Learning Center to create the Future Workforce Teen Program, which is aimed at helping break the cycle of low-literate teens.
