As the Machinists strike at Bombardier Learjet heads into the weekend, no new negotiations have been scheduled between the company and the union.

“Not yet,” said Machinists spokesman Bob Wood, when asked whether talks between the two sides were planned.

The union walked off the job Monday morning after members voted last Saturday to reject the company’s offer of a five-year contract and to strike.
