Tara Laughlin and Kelli Mack have each been promoted from supervising associates to supervisors in the assurance department at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik.


Caleb McNary has joined Justin McClure Creative at director of operations.


Dan Wharton has been promoted branch manager of the Washington Road branch of Midland National Bank in Newton.


Southwestern College Professional Studies in Winfield has announced the following promotions: Loita Repp, assistant director of academics and assessment; Julie Galliart, assistant director of faculty; and Linda Kissire, academic records and processes.

Sara Muzzy has been promoted to associate director of Wichita State University’s office of cooperative education and work-based learning.

Tamim Qaum, an ophthalmologist with Via Christi Clinic, has been named a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine by the Wilderness Medical Society.

W. Steven Trombold, a pulmonologist with Via Christi Clinic, has achieved recertification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was awarded a Certificate of Critical Care Medicine.

Family practice physician, Sara Purdy, has joined Via Christi Clinic and will see patients at the Augusta location.

Physician Bradley Saunders has joined the orthopedics department of Via Christi Clinic and will see patients at various Via Christi Clinic offices.

Lindsay Blick, a fourth-year medical student at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, is receiving hands-on, clinical training in Newton.
