Aircraft exports up nearly 40 percent through July

The U.S. has seen a nearly 40 percent increase in the export of civilian aircraft, while the export of some crops has fallen this year.
The federal Bureau of Economic Analysis said Tuesday that U.S. companies have exported $24.9 billion in civilian aircraft through July, up 39.5 percent from the same period of 2011.
Farm machinery exports are up 27.4 percent for the year.
For agriculture exports, wheat was down 35.5 percent for the year and corn was down 19.5 percent, but soybeans were up 45.6 percent.
