Local bioenergy group helps fund research effort

The Wichita-based Kansas Alliance for Biorefining and Bioenergy awarded a $1.4 million research grant to four Kansas universities to develop new technologies and products for ethanol byproducts, in cooperation with agriculture research firm MGP Ingredients.
