CrossFirst Bank has filed an application with regulators to open a full-service Wichita branch, the Leawood-based bank said today.
The $350-million-asset bank said the branch would be located at the Country Club Park building, 1313 N. Webb, in Suite 230.
It said it has hired Dan Dakhil as a business banker, and Janis Marean as an executive assistant. The new hires are in addition to Steve Peterson, who the bank earlier this year named its Wichita market president.
The bank did not say when it expects to open the branch, as its application awaits regulatory approval.
One of CrossFirst’s founders is Ron Baldwin, who is the bank’s chairman and former president of Intrust Bank. Marean served as his assistant at Intrust.
