The American Advertising Federation of Wichita presented its 2011 ADDY Awards for advertising creative excellence last week at CityArts.
Of the 183 entrants of this year's competition, 19 were awarded Gold ADDY awards, 103 received Silver ADDY awards and 50 were awarded Bronze ADDY awards.
Howerton & White won seven gold awards, and Sullivan Higdon Sink won six gold awards. Others winning gold were: Intake Studio, JustinMcClure.tv, Koch Creative Group, Armstrong Shank and Associated Integrated Marketing.
Howerton & White also won Best of Show for a croquet party invitation produced for Bartlett Arboretum.
SHS also earned Best of Interactive for the Rancher's Registry website it produced for Cargill and Best of Print for a safety poster campaign produced for Westar Energy.
Best of Broadcast went to Intake Studio for its "It's Time to Man Up" commercial for Gentry Ltd.
Kristen Klucas, formerly of Start-Thinking and now with JustinMcClure.tv, was honored with the Rising Star award.
