Bombardier Aerospace has received an order for five mid-size Learjet 85 business jets and two large Challenger 605 jets.
The order is valued at about $155 million. The jets will be will operated by Munich-based Jet Air Flug.
"This order further emphasizes the strength of our business aircraft product portfolio, the diversity of which is truly appreciated by our customers, who can rely on Bombardier as a total business jet and services provider," said Bob Horner, senior vice-president of sales at Bombardier Business Aircraft, in a statement.
The Learjet 85 was launched in October 2007. The Wichita facility is undergoing expansion to take on the work.
The company calls it the longest range, fastest Learjet to date.
