Invista, a unit of Koch Industries, announced today that it will upgrade its Texas chemical plants.
The company employs 2,000 making chemicals used in nylon, polyurethanes and other products at its plants in Victoria, La Porte and Orange. It has two offices in Houston, which house engineering, project management and other functions.
The company will make capital investments in safety and environmental projects, as well as production efficiencies and infrastructure renewal. The company will add about 100 new engineers and other staff. Applications may be made at www.invistacareers.com.
