Wichita may not have many companies traded on the stock market, but it continues to do very well for large private companies, according to the annual Forbes listing released Monday.
Koch Industries was again ranked second on the Forbes list of largest private companies, with revenue of about $100 billion.
Cargill, which is based in Minneapolis, Minn., but has its meat division based in Wichita, topped the list at $109.8 billion.
The No. 4 company on the list is HCA, the owner of Wesley Medical Center, at $30.05 billion.
