Wichita State University broke ground this morning on its new Advanced Education in General Dentistry facility.
The new facility is under construction south of the Hughes Metropolitan Complex at 29th North and Woodlawn.
Construction on the two-story building with basement is expected to take a year. Martin K. Eby Construction Co. has been awarded a contract for the construction. The first seven students in the graduate dental education program began their studies in August and will graduate Monday.
