Commerce Bank scored the highest of 18 banks evaluated in J.D. Power and Associates' 2010 Retail Banking Satisfaction Study for the Midwest.
The Kansas City, Mo.-based bank scored 809 points on the study, which surveyed nearly 48,000 people nationally regarding their experiences with their banks.
J.D. Power said the study analyzes customer satisfaction with the retail banking experience based on six factors: account activities; account information; facility; fees; problem resolution; and product offerings
Banks doing business in Wichita that are in the Midwest survey, including their index scores, are UMB Bank (765), Bank of the West (717), Bank of America (723) and Wells Fargo (747).
