Andrew Nave will join the Greater Wichita Partnership as executive vice president of economic development next month, according to a news release Tuesday.
Nave, a graduate of Pittsburg State University, has served as executive director of the Shawnee Economic Development Council for the past five years. He begins his duties in Wichita the first week of October.
“Andrew’s background and experience are an excellent fit, plus his attitude and skills – from strategic thinking to intense focus – complement the direction of the Partnership and region,” Greater Wichita Partnership President Jeff Fluhr said in a news release.
Nave has served in economic development positions in Johnson County, Overland Park and Shawnee for the past decade and in south-central Missouri before that. He is chair elect of the Kansas Economic Development Alliance.
The Greater Wichita Partnership was formed in April 2015 to align and focus overall economic development efforts.
