WICHITA — Cessna Aircraft today announced changes to for several senior executives, effective Feb. 1.
* Executive vice president and chief financial officer Mike Shonka will retire after 14 years at Cessna and nearly 40 years in finance.
* Eric Salander will replace Shonka. He is Textron's executive director, Financial Planning & Analysis. Before that, Salander had several senior positions at Textron Financial Corp. He holds a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
* Ron Alberti, senior vice president of Integrated Supply Chain, will take responsibility for the previously announced move of production work from Wichita and Columbus, Ga., to Mexico. He also will oversee Skycatcher production in Shenyang, China.
* Eric Cardinali, currently president of Bell Helicopter, Canada, also a Textron unit, will succeed Alberti as Cessna's senior vice president of Integrated Supply Chain. He has held several top jobs for Textron, including plant manager at Jacobson and director of operations and vice president, Integrated Supply Chain at E-Z-Go. He holds a bachelor's degree in public administration from Western Michigan University.
