Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas has received the Highest Customer Satisfaction award for health care from the Service Quality Measurement Group.
It's the third consecutive year that Blue Cross has received the award. The company also received an award for significantly improving its rate of resolving customer issues on first contact.
"As the state's largest, member-owned health insurer, our employees recognize that we work for our members and that providing them superior customer service is integral to our daily business operations," Blue Cross president and CEO Andrew Corbin said in a release. "It is an honor to have our achievements in customer service recognized."
