The annual Wichita Farm and Ranch Show will start Tuesday and run through Thursday.
Attendees can visit 410 booths that will be displaying a variety of farm and ranch equipment – ranging from seeds to tractors.
The show will also offer daily drawings for prizes.
There also will be demonstrations of equipment, including squeeze chutes for cattle. Manufacturers plan to demonstrate their chutes at noon and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, at 1:30 and 5 p.m. Wednesday, and at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
And there will be speakers and clinics, including clinics on horsemanship, which are scheduled at the following times: 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday; 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday; and 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
The show emphasizes a range of equipment and services to meet the needs of varying sizes of ranches and farms. It will be in the Sam Fulco Pavilions at the former Kansas Coliseum at 85th Street North and I-135.
The hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.
Admission is free.
