Arrest made in Commerce Bank robbery

WICHITA — A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of the Commerce Bank branch on East 21st Street on June 25, police said.
The suspect was taken into custody shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of West 21st Street, according to arrest records.
Police said a man entered the bank branch at 2333 E. 21st shortly before 10 a.m. on that last Thursday in June, handed the teller a note demanding money, and then jumped the counter to take money from the drive-through window teller.
The suspect left the area on foot before escaping in a Ford Explorer, police said.
