Thanksgiving food donations needed

Bread of Life is seeking donations for its annual Thanksgiving food giveaway Nov. 17 for families in need.

The group is requesting 10- to 12-pound turkeys as well as canned and boxed goods for a typical Thanksgiving meal — stuffing, yams, cranberries, potatoes, canned vegetables and pumpkin pie filling. Cash donations also are welcome.

Donations will be accepted 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 14 at Bread of Life, 2825 S. Hillside. If you need help bringing in your donations, call 316-648-6267. For more information, call 316-689-6866 or visit www.breadoflifekansas.com.
