WICHITA — About 100 residences in south Wichita were without water most of the night while a water utility crew repaired a water main break.
The break, which occurred at about 4 p.m. Tuesday, reduced water pressure on Topeka between Mount Vernon and Harry, city officials said.
Water service in the area was shut down at about 10:30 p.m., and repairs were completed at about 4 a.m. today, officials said. Service was restored by 4:30 a.m.
