A couple’s argument took a bloody turn early Wednesday in west Wichita when the woman pulled out several knives and began throwing them at her boyfriend, police said.
The incident unfolded about 2:45 a.m. in the 8400 block of West Kellogg, Capt. Doug Nolte said. One of the knives struck the 32-year-old man in the leg, Nolte said. The 32-year-old woman reportedly ran after him and stabbed him in the back with another knife as he was trying to get help.
Officers found eight knives in the parking lot of the apartment complex, Nolte said. The victim was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in serious condition. The woman was arrested.
