Widely scattered showers are possible in south-central Kansas late this afternoon, forecasters say.
Highs will reach the mid-90s, with south winds in the teens and gusting to nearly 25 miles an hour. More showers and thunderstorms are possible overnight, when lows bottom out in the low 70s.
Thursday should be mostly sunny, forecasters say, with highs in the low 90s. Winds are expected to be light and variable.
Slight chances for showers return Friday and are projected to last through the weekend, forecasters say.
