Man attacked, robbed near Broadway and Harry

A 34-year-old man walking south in the 1600 block of South Topeka was pulled into a residence, kicked in his side and head and robbed Saturday night, police said.

The attackers took the man’s cellphone and cash after holding a black semi-automatic handgun to his head, police said.

Police were called at 11:10 p.m.

One suspect, a 34-year-old man, was taken into custody, said Sgt. Ed Bower, with the Wichita Police Department. Police are still seeking a second man, he said.
