Kirstie Alley’s TV Land show canceled after one season

Wichita native Kirstie Alley’s TV Land show, “Kirstie” has been canceled, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Alley, whose latest show was about a Broadway diva who reunites with the son she gave up for adoption over 20 years ago, is best known for her role as Rebecca Howe in the 1980s classic sitcom “Cheers.” Alley’s other shows include “Veronica’s Closet” and “Fat Actress.”

In 2011 and 2012, she was a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars.”
