EmberHope will hold its annual Chalk Art Festival on Saturday in Old Town Square.
Spectators and artists can enjoy chalk demonstrations, live music and children’s activities throughout the day. For a more interactive experience, art-goers are encouraged to pick up some chalk and create their own sidewalk masterpiece.
New this year, those attending will be able to take home their own works of chalk art for a small fee. The funds will go toward children and families served by EmberHope. The nonprofit, according to its website, is a faith-based agency “committed to developing innovative programs that inspire change in at-risk youth and families.”
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and free to the public. Old Town Square is located at Second and Mead.
