The 29-year-old man who was in critical condition Thursday night is now OK following a BB gun shooting in the 1800 block of South Palisade, Wichita police Lt. Dan East said Friday.
The call came in at 11:19 p.m., a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. The man was standing on his back porch, East said, when he was shot by a CO2-powered BB gun. He was transported to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in critical condition, the dispatcher said. As of Friday morning, the victim was “OK,” East said.
At this point, “there are more questions than answers,” East said. Police are still investigating the incident.
