Wichita weather: A bit cooler, but not much

Conditions will be slightly better in the Wichita area Wednesday than over the past two days, forecasters say.
Highs will only be in the mid-90s under sunny skies, with light northerly winds. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s under partly cloudy skies.
Thursday will have highs in the mid-90s, forecasters say, but southerly winds will gain strength during the day. Steady breezes will be in the teens with gusts reaching 25 miles an hour.
Friday will see a fresh surge of heat, with highs climbing near 100 again.
