City closes pool at Boston Recreation Center for summer

City officials said Tuesday that the pool at Boston Recreation Center will close for the rest of the summer for repairs.
Classes and camps held at the pool, near Woodlawn and Harry, will be moved to the McAdams Recreation Center and pool, 1556 N. Ohio. Park and Recreation officials are working with residents who use the Boston pool to address transportation needs.
Other city pools that will remain open until Aug. 3 are: Evergreen, 2700 N. Woodland, 1 to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; Linwood, 1900 S. Hydraulic, 1 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; McAdams, 1556 N. Ohio, 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday; Minisa, 1350 N. Jeanette, 1 to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday; and Orchard, 1062 N. Clara, 1 to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Pools that will remain open until Aug. 10 are: College Hill, 304 S. Circle Drive, 1 to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 1 to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday; Harvest, 9500 W. Provincial, 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday; and Aley, 1800 S. Seneca, 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
