It’ll be another pleasant day for early July in the Wichita area on Wednesday, forecasters say.
Highs will be in the upper 80s under sunny skies, with light southeasterly winds occasionally pushing into double digits. A chance of rain arrives overnight, when lows slip into the upper 60s.
Those rain chances will linger through the morning hours on Thursday before skies begin to clear, forecasters say. Highs will approach 90 degrees. Winds will be stronger than over the previous few days, with steady breezes in the upper teens and gusts pushing 30 miles an hour.
Friday and Saturday will be sunny and hot, with highs in the upper 90s, forecasters say.
