A 20-year-old woman was kidnapped from a Rock Road Wal-Mart on Thursday night and was forced to smoke meth several times during an 11-hour period at a South Broadway hotel, police said Sunday.

At about 11 p.m. Thursday, a 30-year-old man forced the woman into her vehicle by threatening with a knife, Wichita police Sgt. Ed Brower said.

He forced the victim to drive them to an unknown hotel on South Broadway and held her there for 11 hours, Brower said. He forced her to smoke meth “several times” throughout that period. She sustained no injuries, Brower said.

“She eventually was released,” and called 911 to report it about 5 a.m. Sunday morning, Brower said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 180 pounds with a black buzz cut and tattoos all over his body.
