The man who was struck by a train while riding his bicycle to work last month in south Wichita has died, police said.
Craig McBroom, 52, was on his way to his job at Spangles when he was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train shortly before 7:45 a.m. on June 23 at Pawnee and Hydraulic, police have said. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, where he died Tuesday morning.
McBroom worked at the Spangles at Pawnee and K-15 and often rode his bike to work, co-workers said.
