The first session of free swim lessons for children 6 to 12 at McAdams Park is full, but there are still openings for the second session, organizers said Friday.
While the opening session that starts Tuesday is closed, spots are still available for lessons that will be held July 15-25, said the Wichita Parks Foundation, a nonprofit that helps support the city’s park system.
The lessons start at 10 a.m. and are held at the McAdams pool, near Ohio and 14th Street.
Free swim suits are available. Reservations for the lessons will be handled at McAdams’ office, 1329 E. 13th.
