Bicyclist hit by train still in critical condition

A 52-year-old man hit by a train while riding a bicycle to work Monday morning remains in critical condition at a local hospital, officials said.

A 52-year-old man hit by a train while riding a bicycle to work Monday morning remains in critical condition at a local hospital, officials said.

The man is being treated at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis. Authorities say he was struck by Burlington Northern Santa Fe train shortly before 7:45 a.m. Monday at Pawnee and Hydraulic.

The man works at the Spangles at Pawnee and K-15 and commonly rode his bike to work.
