A man pulled a gun Saturday morning on a group of people in Old Town because they didn’t have a cellphone for him to use, Wichita police said.
Sgt. Ron Hunt said the 24-year-old man approached a group of five people about 2:20 a.m. Saturday near 200 N. Rock Island, asking if they had a cellphone he could use.
When they didn’t, Hunt said, the man got upset and pointed a gun at them.
Police caught the man at 1010 E. Douglas, where he was arrested. Hunt said officers found a handgun and marijuana on the man.
