A Wichita retailer is hosting its first clothing drive Saturday to benefit Wichita’s Dress for Success.
Barfield’s Boutique, 1907 E. 21st St. North, will accept new, gently-used business clothing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dress for Success provides professional attire, support and career consultation to disadvantaged women.
“It will be great to be a part of the mission of Dress for Success,” said James Barfield, whose mother, Theresa, has run the shop for 26 years. “We want to do something for our community and contribute to their lives.”
Donors are asked to visit www.dressforsuccesswichita.com for a complete listing of the types of clothing accepted by Dress for Success.
