A man was attacked and robbed at a south Wichita convenience store late Tuesday night, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was jumped at about 9 p.m. outside the Jump Start at 1535 E. Pawnee, near Hydraulic, Lt. Dan East said. He was hit in the face several times.
The suspects took his red-and-black baseball hat and tried to take his wallet but failed, East said. They then fled in a two-door Geo Metro.
Police later arrested a 21-year-old and a 19-year-old at an address on Bennett Street in connection with the case, police records show. Officers want to talk to a third suspect in the case, East said.
The victim’s injuries were treated at the scene, he said.
