Hazardous household materials can be dropped off Saturday in Garden Plain

Sedgwick County residents may drop off hazardous products such as paint, aerosols, used motor fluids, batteries, lawn and garden chemicals, cleaners, fluorescent lightbulbs and other products at a free remote collection site Saturday.

Sedgwick County residents may drop off hazardous products such as paint, aerosols, used motor fluids, batteries, lawn and garden chemicals, cleaners, fluorescent lightbulbs and other products at a free remote collection site Saturday.

The site will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Garden Plain High School football field parking lot, 900 N. Section Line in Garden Plain.

The site will not accept tires, electronics, ammunition, explosives, empty containers or controlled substances or any materials from businesses.
