Police are looking for two teenagers who knocked a man out with a brick and then robbed him as he lay unconscious Monday night.

The attack occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of North Lorraine, Lt. Dan East said. That’s a block northwest of 13th and Hillside.

The 57-year-old man said the teens hit him in the head with a brick, knocking him out, and then stole a small amount of cash from his pocket, East said. He was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of what a police report called “a severe laceration.”

The victim was unable to give a detailed description of his attackers, East said.
