Patrol: Driver swerves to miss dog, rolls car on K-96

A 61-year-old Park City woman was injured Monday morning in a one-car rollover caused when she swerved to miss a dog, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

A 61-year-old Park City woman was injured Monday morning in a one-car rollover caused when she swerved to miss a dog, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Brenda Ann Elftman was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis after the accident, that occurred at 8:50 a.m. on K-96 at the Greenwich exit. Her condition is not known.

According to Kansas Highway Patrol reports, Elftman was eastbound when she swerved to avoid the dog, causing her to hit a barricade and her 2007 Nissan to roll.
