A 54-year-old man was walking out of a convenience store Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of North Broadway when two men and a woman confronted him.
The incident happened at 1:30 p.m. at the KC Gas and Groceries, said Dan East, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.
The three people told the man to hand over his cane and his money because he had a nice car, East said. One of the men showed the man a gun.
The man quickly walked back into the store and called 911 and the three left the area.
There was no loss or injury reported.
