Folks who were worried that those two triple-digit days last week signaled the end of spring in the Wichita area can relax a little.
Forecasters say highs are likely to be in the 60s or low 70s the rest of the work week, with night-time temperatures hovering in the low 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy in the Wichita area on Tuesday, with northerly winds in the teens. Gusts will approach 30 miles an hour.
Wednesday should again see highs in the mid-60s, forecasters say, with fewer clouds and less wind. Northerly winds will occasionally climb into the low teens.
