Wichita could see more showers and thunderstorms on Monday after some welcome rain doused the weekend.
Highs will only be in the upper 60s on the cloud-filled day, forecasters say, with southerly winds in the morning shifting to the north-northwest by afternoon. Gusts could approach 30 miles an hour.
Cooler temperatures will be behind the slow-moving front, forecasters say, dropping overnight lows into the low 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy, with winds remaining robust. Gusts will again approach 30 miles an hour.
Tuesday will see more highs in the mid-60s under partly cloudy skies, forecasters say, with northerly winds in the teens and gusts topping 25 miles an hour.
