Highs may touch 80 under cloudy skies, with south winds gusting to nearly 30 miles an hour in Wichita, forecasters say. Clouds and chances for rain will persist overnight, with lows falling into the low 50s.
Friday should see skies gradually clear, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-70s and light northerly winds that will switch the south and southwest by afternoon.
Saturday is likely to be mostly sunny, forecasters say, with highs in the low 80s, but chances for showers and thunderstorms return Saturday night and continue on Mother’s Day.
