The Fountains at WaterWalk shows will begin Friday, city officials said.
Four shows will take place at noon, 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Each 10- to 15-minute show will include music, lights and water in a choreographed display to different genres of music, including country, classic rock, classical and ’80s rock. The fountains are at 605 N. Wichita Street, east of Gander Mountain.
The fountains were installed in October 2012. They are 150-feet long and have more than 1,200 custom nozzles. The regular fountain season runs May through October. The fountains do not operate when winds exceed 15 mph.
