An unseasonably chilly morning in the 30s will make way for a sunny day pushing close to 60 in the Wichita area Wednesday, forecasters say.
The winds that have dominated the weather over the past few days in the region will remain robust out of the northwest, with steady breezes in the teens and twenties and gusts topping 30 miles an hour.
Tonight will be another crisp night, forecasters say, with lows in the mid-30s under mostly clear skies. Thursday will start a warming trend, with highs in the mid-60s under sunny skies.
