Motorcycle rider hurt in collision near Wichita State

A 30-year-old man was seriously hurt Thursday night when his motorcycle was hit by a car next to Wichita State University, authorities said.
The collision was reported shortly after 6:15 p.m. at 21st and Mike Oatman Drive, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. That’s an entrance into WSU.
The rider suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment, the supervisor said.
