Sedgwick County sheriff’s officers issued citations for 25 seat-belt violations during a seat-belt enforcement patrol, the Sheriff’s Office office said Monday.
The operation occurred between 6 and 10 p.m. Thursday.
Also, officers issued 13 citations for other traffic violations and misdemeanors. Officers arrested one person for transportation of an open container of an alcoholic beverage and possession of marijuana.
The operation was conducted by a sergeant, three deputies and two reserves, the office said. A Kansas Department of Transportation grant funded the operation.
