A dispute among three men at a downtown Wichita bar ended with two of them stabbed and the third behind bars Thursday night, police said.
The argument erupted shortly after 8 p.m. at J’s Lounge at 513 E. Central, Wichita police Lt. Dan East said. A 40-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and a 29-year-old man stabbed in the leg.
The older man was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, where he was admitted for treatment. The other stabbing victim was treated at the scene.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man in the 300 block of East Central shortly after the incident, East said.
Investigators are still trying to determine what led to the clash, East said.
