Jeff Blubaugh will become Wichita’s vice mayor next Tuesday, following the annual City Council vote.

Blubaugh, who represents south and west Wichita in District 4, won the slot in a 5-2 vote Tuesday over District 5 council member Jeff Longwell. Blubaugh replaces Meitzner, who served as vice mayor for the past year.
