A security guard for the Days Inn & Suites at 7321 E. Kellogg was arrested after a guest reported having her iPad and accessories stolen from her room at the inn Friday night, police said Saturday.
The woman called 911 after finding that someone had broken into her room and taken her things, valued at $1,200, police Sgt. Ron Hunt said. Security video from the hotel showed a security guard entering the room and leaving with the property. The man, 47, was arrested for burglary and theft, and then led police to the property, which was returned to the woman, Hunt said.
