3.8-magnitude Oklahoma earthquake felt in Wichita

The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake of 3.8 magnitude located 12 miles north of Crescent, Okla. on its website at 7:42 a.m. Saturday.
The earthquake, which was about 3 miles deep and originally reported as having a magnitude of 4.2, was felt by Wichita residents to the north and people in Tulsa to the east.
Crescent is about 35 miles north of Oklahoma City.
Saturday’s earthquake is the largest of six recorded seismic events to take place in central Oklahoma in the past 24 hours. A 4.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the same vicinity on March 30.
